Moving Part II: Oy, the pain of it all
As we speak, McMahon's Furniture is installing Deb's new china hutch, with the new dining room (and breakfast nook) furniture. I'm typing this on my new Athlon 2000 XP computer from DSI, with 512 megs of RAM, LCD flat-panel screen, etc.
And yet ... the woman buying our old house hasn't signed the final paperwork, so we're flying in mid-air, with the funds supposed to become available no later than Tuesday. Thanks to folks like Vern and Gretchen Palmer of Palmer Homes, and Jere Smith of DSI, we're just pushing ahead, presuming that vital last piece will fall into place.
It had better;-)

Moving time is upon us!
Howdy, sorry it's been so long since I've written;-) My wonderful marvelous older and oh-so-wiser (or is that wiseacre?;-) brother Pete is over a visit, and noticed I had not updated this for too long. So here it is.

This is Moving Week for me and Deb, as we step up to a bigger house and get to pay off the bills AND get a spiffy speedy new PC to boot! (Or to reboot!;-)

So now I get to show my brother (and perhaps my niece Erinn, who Pete promises to show this too;-) how spiffy the world of Blogging is. (And if you haven't noticed, there's a neat article on blogging in the latest issue of Smart Computing magazine.
